Wanna see what I made with the bundle item?  I had a BLAST coloring up these fun merpeople!

Here is my little Merboy card.  I used some brusho on the card mat and layered that onto some striped cardstock.  I then colored up some of the dies from Under the Sea and even glossy accented a few.  Next I colored up the image and pop dotted him to the card.

This beauty was soooo fun to color up!  I decided to try a darker skin tone and have fun with her hair!  She was so fun to do!  I Nuvo Moussed the background and added some Bo Bunny Confetti paste... then I card matted her and added the circle dies.  I then copic colored my Hello die to match the colors and placed it all down!

Here is my sea witch (octopus!)... I just knew she had to be in the bottom depths of the ocean so I created her in a deep cavern on the ocean floor.  I used the Under the Sea dies to create the hills and knolls of the cave.  I tucked in some coral and plants and added some fun funky hair to this beautiful creature! Copics Used :  Tentacle bottoms  Y08, R24 -  Body Bv08, Bv17, Bv11, BV13  Hair BG13, YG06, Y19, E29, E23, E71, E25 Skin  E000, E02, E04, R20, R22

My last card for the hop is actually a POP UP card.  It has many layers on different planes and its just a totally fun card to open!  I used several of the die cuts for our package and collored then with marker and nuvo drops (glitter)... I made her a soft pastel hair combo ad just love how it all came together!  Sorry I forgot to take note of the copics I used on this one!!

March day 3

So I made this totally adorable 3 folded card that has the middle section up in front.  You can watch the video below on the tutorial of the cut and score lines to create you own!

I used th new Victoria stamp and the New Hello Die for this project.  I colored up several of the little images in the Garden Grows Decorative Die cut pack and used the Land of Oz dies to create that pretty cloud background and hillside grass.

march day 2

Hi and welcome to our March Release!

Spring is right around the corner and so our release has a great new line of some fun spring stamps!

I had a lot of fun creating this pop dimension card (hard to tell in the photo)

I ran a card mat through my big Shot using a fun embossing folder to do the white on white look.

I then cut out a oval in the lower portion of the card to make my "window" to the field behind my Alice image.

I ditressed inked the sky and then cut out some tree lines and hills using the Land of Oz Dies.

I then cut out HUGS with the new hugs die.

Channel Your Spirit Animal - Expecto Patronum

So, I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan.  Yea- Enormous!  When I saw the new saying for the JB Stamp set Spirit Animal, I just knew straightaway I needed to make Harry's Stag!

I used the Christmas dies for the Deer - which I die cut out and then used as a mask on an A2 card base.  Since I wanted the "stag" to sort of glow, I used my Distress Inks and made a dark night sky with the yellowish glow around the deer.  I also masked in a hilly area, all in dark colors since its night.  Next I stamped the sentiment onto one of the new Label Shape Dies - I just double cut 2 and matted them to the back of the white one.

I framed the whole card with a scalloped stitch frame die.

I took the super sassy Jessica and put her on a standard A2 card that I matted with the Card Mat Dies.  Again I used the Wine Tag die and Label dies to jazz it up!  A Sentiment Thank You Die finishes it off!

I then took Brooke and scan and cut her and placed her on the Wine Tag Die.  Some Doodlebug Design buttons and a sentiment Joy die finish her off!

Jaded Blossome Day #4, February Release, Hey Chickie

Good morning everyone and welcome to Day 4 of the Jaded Blossom February Release. Today we are sharing projects made with a new stamp set!

Here is the fun project I made for today

I wanted to make something different for today, non holiday related, so I used the Rounded Scallop Card base for this totally fun card!
The Stitched Squares and Scallop Square Dies frame the fun cherries from the Birthday Dies, with the candle flame as the leaf.  The Bow Dies released earlier this week tie it together and the sentiment from NEW HEY CHICKIE  stamp set finish it off. (the border dies is the 'ribbon' part of the bow)

Stamp Anniething's September Release, Day #2, Savannah - Howdy Partner!

Hi and welcome to Day #1 of Stamp Anniething's September release!

Here is my project with the new Savannah stamp!

So here is Savannah!  She is a sassy and fun little cowgirl!

I created a standard A2 card for her, fitted with Card Mat Dies, stamps and more from Jaded Blossom!

Her little howdy partner sentiment is on the mini bread tag die! So cute! (I just layered and cut a backing slightly behind it to make it pop a little!

The insert from the Goody Treat Bag is a perfect mat for these image stamps!

Stashes of burlap, buttons and twine just finish off my card for added textures!

Here is my project with the new Kelly stamp!

I placed Kelly on a standard A2 sized card base.  I choose a dark plum purple because I really wanted the "candy corn" inspired hair to pop!

I used the Card Mat Die  and the Halloween Dies from Jaded Blossom to add some layers to my card.

My stamped image is on the insert die from the Good Bag Die, its a perfect fit!!

Just a closer side view of my card, accented with a scrap of Doodlebug Halloween paper and some yummy twine from my stash!

Jaded Blossom July Die Hop and Super Sales Event!! --- Punch Art Animals by Annie!

Hey Everyone! 

Welcome to Jaded Blossom's July 2015 Die Release Blog Hop.  

Now if you're here from Sara you're in the right place, if you're just passing through start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing.  I also have the complete line up at the bottom. Not only is it Release Day for the new dies, but it's also starts our amazing July Sale Event!

Here is what I made:

I decided to make some Punch Art Animals, to show you all the fun and cool things you can do with basic shapes and a variation of sizes!

First I made an adorable Owl Treat and Topper!

The Topper is made from the largest Scallop Square die, simply folded in half. I love the scallops because it helps you also line up your wrapped twine perfectly!

The Owl is made from various sizes of the Stitched Circle Dies. I also used the small heart from Valentines Dies (3 in total, 2 for feet and 1 cut off for his beak)

The Eyes are stitched circle with the tiny pupil the die from Spring Dies (its super small so be careful where you put that die down!! I misplaced it like 5 times!! lol)

The body is just a stitched circle and then I cut out a portion on the top to make the head shape.  The wings is a circle with the sides removed.

I put rolos in a 3 X 4 bag and attached it to my topper. 

Next I made a SOCK MONKEY tag!

Again, using only dies... see how easily you can manipulate the shapes to create new and fun things?

This Sock Monkey is on the Luggage Tag die, stamped with Super Sized Birthday Greetings.

For my Monkey, I used various stiched circles to create the face,muzzle and ears.  I used a Scalloped Circle for the hat and pom pom top.  The border trim is a Border Die, and the eyes and cheeks are from Birthday Dies (party hat top)

The ideas are limited only to your imagination.  Try making a LION, TURTLE, DOG, CAT, FISH, BIRD with just circles and squares. You may be amazed HOW MANY things you can do with just these basic shapes! Enjoy!

 I made a cute 3D robot treat box!  Yep your treats and goodies go right in his head!
I love his bright colors... and wanted to stay away from basic silver/gray!
I added some robot candies to kisses (in his head) and added one more to his chest plate.
The sentiment from Robotastic went perfect on the sign from Fall Dies!

And now for my project!

I did young Simba singing his famous "Just Can't Wait to be KING" song!

the file comes with 2 layers for the back mane... I just JB'ed it up with using the leaf die and cutting a gazillion times to create it this way.. and I TOTALLY love how it came out!

 I took the Head file that is FREE TODAY ONLY and made it into a shaped card. Its hard to see the base as I covered it in tons of layers using the Spring Dies (leaf).  I stamped a sentiment from Dream in Color onto a mini tag dies 2 and finished it all off with Orange and Red Bubbles from Queen and Company.

 As you can see, I left some of the tips of the leafs loose so that I could curl them to give my card further dimension.
