Don't worry if you get lost, I have the entire blog line up below this post.
Now on to my Project... EEEKKKK!!
Cruella DeVille, Cruella DeVille...
if she doesnt scare you, no evil thing will!
I hope you find my project to be Perfectly Wretched, Darling!  (lol)
It's no surprise I choose Cruella... I LOVE her!
 I think she is FABULOUS. . .
Aside from wanting to skin dogs to make them into fur coats that is!
We are HUGE Disney fans in our household, and I have watched 101 Dalmatians countless times with my boys.  Cruella  is quite the character, so I just knew I wanted to make her when we decided on this hop!
She is wretchedly Wicked!
I cut my Cruella on various bazill papers and attached her to the Clear Purses from Jaded Blossom.  I put some White M&M's in the treat box and randomly added a black one here and there to make it like a Dalmatian Pup.
I wrapped the handle of the bag in some Celebration Trendy Twine (its Disney colors eek)...and adorned it with some FUN Polk Dot Buttons I had stashed away along with some Edgy Halloween Ribbons.  I topped it all off with a Fun Sentiment from the new Villains set and put it on the Treat Flag Dies.
I think she is awesome...
Oh and By the Way...
Absolutely NO Animals were Harmed in the making of this project!!
Next up on the Hop is Candace.

You Sure are Fly!!

Hi everyone...
Today I'm sharing a card I made for my son's bus attendant aid, Keidran.  I have known Keidran for many many years..but ONLY just recently found out he LOVES Charlie Brown!  So I just knew I had to make him a super fly card for him... (His favorite team is the Miami Dolphins, so I incorporated that into my color scheme!)

I found this funny Snoopy image online and traced it to make into a cut file for my Cameo.
I used all the Miami Dolphin Colors (Orange and Turquoise) for the accents.

I started by making the card base using the WAVE Card from SVG Cutting Files.
I used the sentiment from Jaded Blossoms, Bugaboo set and put in on the Treat Flag Die (I cut it off to make it smaller on one end to fit under Snoopy, who is pop dotted)
I finished it off with my white gel pen to give some highlights, some Orange Momma's Mesh and some Trendy Twine

I love the color combo and how he turned out!!

Santa's Helper Jordan -

Meet Jordan, another one of our Santa's Helpers digital stamp file being released TODAY!!

I made this stamp a little smaller then Im used to.. because I wanted it to fit on the Clear Boxes from Jaded Blossom.  They are a perfect size for treats!!
I love purple and teal together... as you can probably tell from most of my projects this week, lol.
So Jordan is colored with copics and placed on the clear box.  I tied the boxed with Eyes of Blue Ribbon and stamped some sentiments from Gingerbread Wishes and  Winter Candies.

Chibi Penguin - Penguin Kisses

Hi everyone...today Im showing a sweet little project I created using the new Chibi Penguins Digital stamp, that will be released on Friday!

There are a few different poses in this mini set, but I chose the one in the Santa hat, even though I opted to do him in a more winter color scheme.

I colored my adorable Penguin with Copic Markers and then attached him to the Clear Purses from Jaded Blossom.  I stamped Penguin Kisses from the Merry & Bright stamp set along with the adorable penguin faces you see on the Hershey Kiss Candy.  I put the sentiment on the die from the Mini Tag Die set.  I wrapped the handle of the Purse in Solid Lilac from The Twinery.  I just wanted to go with some fun teal, purple color combos!    I had some self adhesive teal glitter ribbon and put that around the base of the treat container!
Remember the Digital stamp for the Chibi Penguins will be available THIS Friday... BUT you can enter to win this by simply leaving a comment below  OR sharing and comment on our Facebook post!

Santa's Helper - Kellie Ann

Hi everyone! Today Im showcasing one of the new digital stamps that will be available on Friday!

This is Santa's Helper, Kellie Ann.  I love the flow of her hair and the 'bounce' in her stride and dress!

It's hard to tell..... but I found these clear craft ornaments at Walmart in different colors and shapes for 88cents.  I filled it with Christmas M&M's and then created a tag with my image to make a cute candy treat as a gift.

Kellie Ann will be one of a few Santa's Helper images coming this week.
To make the tag, I used the Treat Tag Die from Jaded Blossom, then stamped the Sentiment from their  Winter Wishes set... and put it on their adorable new Mini Tag Dies. I topped it off with a 2.5 inch wide Red Sheer with flocked polka dot ribbon.

Kellie Ann was colored with my copic markers... and I tried a new hair color combo of Auburn and I just LOVE IT!
Skin -  E00, E02, E11
Hair - YR04, E15, E19
Dress- R32, R35, R37, R39

I then highlighted with some glittery gel pens for her necklace and bracelet.

My Copic Marker Storage

Hi again! Annie here....

Well, sometimes we have to make due with what we have, right? Try to recycle and save money...well that is what I did with my new Copic marker storage solution!

I have 2 Copic Wallet Organizers... but hated that I had to carry around 2 of them when I was working...and it never failed... I always opened the one that didn't have the colors I needed... such a pain!

Quite some time ago, I scored these really great storage organizers at my local Tuesday Morning store.  They are not colors I would normally pick out if I was using them for home decor or anything...but they were 80% off at the time..so I just snatched them up figuring they would be great for my scraps and stuff.  Im sooo glad I got them!!

So... as my Copic Marker collection increased, I knew that I wanted a new storage solution.  I had a few ideas in mind...but most of them involved buying new crates/systems to work.  At first I was just going to ask the hubby to make me a wooden box with dividers (like a pencil holder) .... but then I thought... "hmmm, no"... only because I wanted it to be portable, as sometimes I color at the dining table, sometimes while watching TV etc....

Then it dawned on me... my Storage containers from Tuesday Morning.  I have various sizes and styles..but settled on the catch all with the handles..so I can easily carry it from room to room.  So that settled that...but HOW was I going to keep the markers in there?

Then I came across a lighting crate at Home Depot.  Its about $12 and pretty big in sheet size. I knew we would have to cut it down to size..but I also realized that if my collection grew larger..at least I would have left over crate to grow as I needed!

So I gave the puppy dog eyes to the hubby and asked him to cut the crate to fit within my carry tote. It took a matter of 5 mins probably!  The SKETCH markers fit in here nice and snug (angled)..the Ciao Markers wiggle a little..but who cares... I can easily see the marker numbers and easily grab the ones I want to work with!
So what do you think? Not to Shabby for under $17  (yep the crate was $12 - with extra to spare to make about 4 of these babies  and the tote was $5)....sooo all in all..quite the bargain.
I paid way more for ONE Copic Brand Wallet!!

I hope this gives you some ideas or inspiration to organize your Copic markers!

I Love Lucy - Vitameatavegamin Girl Style!

THIS BLOG HOP has now ended...FILES are NO LONGER available..THANK YOU!!

Hello everyone and welcome to the:

We are SO EXCITED to bring to you this awesome blog hop!
Our dear talented Ann {that's me folks} from SVG Cutting Files created the most amazing svgs for our blog hop!
Abby started this blog hop a few years back.
This is actually the 2nd I Lucy Blog Hop,
Why this hop? Well, it's plain and simple......
We are LOVING FANS of I Love Lucy!

So, before we move on... If you came from Angelica then you are headed in the right direction, if not, make sure not to miss the starting point with Abby
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
I can't remember the first time I even started watching I Love Lucy... just as long as I can remember.  I now have the pleasure of watching the same episodes I grew up on with my oldest son.  Yep, he is an I Love Lucy fan too.  We are amazed how funny we still find the shows all these decades later.  Just goes to show, good television, acting and comedy really DO stand the test of time!  Nothing but good clean fun in every episode.
Now like most, you have to have some FAVORITES right?  Well, I have several...and of course, some of my faves are the ones that are some of the most well known episodes!
In going with that theme, I decided to base my project on
"Lucy Does a TV Commercial"  (Season 1, Episode 30)
(don't worry..I included the YouTube video of this classic episode below!)
It is quite possibly the funniest 3:55 seconds in television history!
Watch it and have a laugh!!

So based off this hysterical episode, I created a card of Lucy, as what else?
The Vitameatavegamin commercial girl!

First and foremost, this file is NOT included in the FREE files from the hop.  I just wanted to do something differently and drew up this 50's inspired outfit and created it to be Lucy....just because Im a huge fan!

I took the sayings from the script of Lucy's commercial and made them into digital sentiments that I did a Print and Cut with on my cameo.
I cut the card shape using the Arched Card 2 base.  The sentiments were printed and then attached a few different dies from Jaded Blossom's Mini Tag Dies set.
I finished her off with my white gel pen for some interest, a FUN and flirty Peachy Keen Face (I was gonna go Retro..but Lucy has those big BLUE eyes, I just wanted BIG EYES)  --- I did not stamp the MOUTH from the stamp set..but opted to draw one in!
Added some Nautical Trendy twine, and voila, there you have it!

So about these files.... you want to know how to get the FREE ones from the hops along the way, right?

Tree-Mendous Holiday Wishes

Hi everyone, Annie here.
Last week we released a few new holiday digital stamps at Digi My World.  I was late getting a project done.... just been so busy busy busy!!

At any rate...here is a fast colored card I made!
I used the adorable little boy with the Ornaments from the Getting Ready Digital Stamp set.  I hand colored with my copic markers... I am LOVING the reddish brown hair coloring lately (yeah, you will see that again and again!)...

I attached him to the Wavy Card base from SVG Cutting Files.
I stamped a sentiment from Merry & Bright from Jaded Blossom & added the Flag Dies 2.
Finished him off with a little twine and a red jewel.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Twine Intervention

So, yesterday I shared with you how I get my Copic markers in order... today I'm gonna share with you how I store my twine.

First, a little about me & twine.  I love it, I really do ---but I use it as accent embellishments, so I never need HUGE amounts of it.  As much as I want EVERY color under the sun, the larger spools just would have no place to be stored in my house...so I opt out for the mini spools/bundles.  This allows me to get more colors and smaller storage space to keep it all in!
Here is an example of what one looks like..
I have a tendency that if I keep the twine as they are shipped to me....that at some point they always TANGLE on me... so I have to re-wrap so they are all in a single direction way.
Pretty cool, right?  It keeps them all nice and PRETTY!!

What are those things I put them on, you ask? Those stick looking things?
They are Stitch Bows!! They are intended for DMC floss {for those that do cross stitch.}  They come in a pack of TEN for under $2!!  So, I buy tons at a time... and organize all my twine....
This is what the packing looks like, and you can find them at Walmart, Michaels, Joann's etc...
they are in the needlpoint/cross stitch area.  Incidently there are MANY kinds of floss holders out there... so take a look around and just see which would work best for you!
Once they are all wrapped up, I place them in zip lock bags, by color.... and hang them on my Simply Rene Clip It Up.
My Clip it Up is forever by my side and has all my "go to" items on it, close at hand so I am not constantly up and down finding things!!

Copic Organization, Phase I

Hi everyone....
If you are anything like me.....you have WAY more than you use in the field of craft supplies.  You sometimes (in my case frequently) buy things at the store... put it away and forget about...only to later BUY it again because you forgot you already own it!  Then when you get around to organizing your things, you realize.. ."What? I have three of these already?"

Well... when I find deals/clearance items, it doesnt bother me so much...but when it comes to higher priced items... it can be quite bothersome knowing you paid FULL price and own it already!

So today, I decided to share with you a project I did to help me keep track of what Copic Markers I already own, so I do not repeat purchasing them on a whim when Im getting new ones!

On my computer, I made a grid for each Copic Color Family according to the Copic Color Chart. I made sure it was sized to fit inside the Jaded Blossom Journal Die, which I used at the base for each family card. I suggest you test print one FIRST to make sure your printer is printing at the size needed, and if not, adjust to scale to make sure it fits the DIE.

After I printed each table chart I then cut out the Journal Die for as many as needed.  Since I wanted to use up some scrap ribbons I have found in my stash, I decided to adhered the colored ribbon to co-ordinate to the family chart on that page.  (ie: green ribbon on the Green family page, Yellow Green Ribbon on the Yellow Green family page, etc.)
Dont want to use ribbon?  What is an alternative to using ribbon?
Cut your Journal Die in the colored cardstock to the color family you are working in.. its just a FAST easy visual so you dont have to flip through your whole book!

After all my cards were cut, embellished with the ribbon and assembled to the DIE, I punched a hole in the corner and looped it up with a binding ring.  I took out ALL my Copic markers and then 'colored' the square to co-ordinate on the color chart so I knew which color markers I currently own!

This was a Fast and Easy project to make.
Creating the table charts was the most time consuming, but you can get them BELOW to print out on your own.
*Please note, this goes by CURRENT Copic Chart that is currently online, any new colors added are NOT in these files.

I keep my new Swatch Book close at hand for easy reference when I'm buying online...or I toss it in my purse when I'm heading to the craft store!  NEVER buying duplicates again!
