And now for my project! I made the new Kawaii Yo Yo Treat Box!
How cute is this new cut?  This is based on a japanese sun, just kawaii'ed up!
I love this little box, its just great to hold a handful of small treats! I used kisses!
I wrapped jute twine around for the "string" and tied the loop just like a real yo yo would have.

I added a Mini Tag die and the sentiment from Kawaii Sentiments because it was a PERFECT fit!
That is EXACTLY how my yo yo rolls! ha ha

here is the box open.. it holds a handful of sweet kisses!!

And now for my project!

Piglet is my favorite of the Pooh characters. He is so teeny and adorable and I just want to squeeze him!
I put my Piglet on a Clear Purse and wrapped twine on the handle.  I then added the Scallop Slider and Topper Die to make a topper on the purse.
I stamped a sentiment from Berrylicious and put it on a Flag Die, and then added some glitter sprinkles to finish it off.
A little bit of washi on the edge of the purse finished it off.

Meet Pixelpus - a new Squarey Monster for you to love!

Hi everyone! Annie here from CreatingAnniething!
Today I wanted to introduce you to an amazing new Squarey Monster.....

His name is Pixelpus!

Now here is a little backstory about Pixelpus and what he is all about!

This is the one-of-a-kind creature who eats pixels inside all kinds of digital displays. Your monitor, your smart phone, your tablet even your television — none of these are safe. Pixelpus is currently green, but he can be red or blue too. It really depends on which pixels he’s recently eaten more recently. After all, you are what you eat.

So in keeping with his description, you can see I kept my Pixelpus green..but added him to a red & blue color scheme for when/if he changes his colors!

The Squarey Monster Pixelpus will be available on Friday...
I placed him on the Ornate Label Card Base.

Since Pixelpus eats pixels, I thought this sentiment worked AWESOME with him...
its from the NERD set at Jaded Blossom and I added it to a Candy Charm and Banners Die.

I added some fun embellishing with Doodle Bug Sequins and some cute twine from my stash!

Oh Snap! It's Your Birthday

Hi everyone.. a quick card I whipped up last night....
Chicken Little is so freaking CUTE and his tag line "Oh Snap!" makes me smile...
so when I saw this sentiment from Jaded Blossoms Happy Summer, I just KNEW who I had to make to go along with it!!
I put this Chicken Little Cut onto the Arched 2 Card Base... stamped the sentiment on the FLAG DIE, and topped it off with some Cherry Lemonade twine.

Leave me some BLOG love below if you love this Chicken Little as much as I do!

Just Chicken In .....

I needed to make a card for my son's bus aid, as he had surgery a few weeks back.  We miss him like crazy and just wanted him to know we were all thinking of him... so, needed a manly but cute card....
This is what I came up with.
I used the Mini Note Cards (just scaled it a little larger to be a 4 X 4 card instead.
I cut the cute Chicakdees file and pop dotted him on an outset mat I made in the Designer Edition Software on my Cameo.
Found the cutest sentiment from Udderly Adorable and add it to a min tag die.
Tied it all up with some Maya Road twine in Pumpkin Orange. I LOVE this twine..its nice and thick and you get a nice amount for the price!
Oh and I used the Cameo Sketch Pens to do the stitching on my white bordered outset.
I admit, the face is girlie on the Chick..but its what I grabbed from my stash as I just need to get it done!

Thanks for popping by and chicken it out!

Monster Cereal for National Breakfast Week Blog Hop!

Hi there! Welcome to the National Breakfast Week Blog hop!
Now don't let the name fool you, this hop is for TODAY ONLY, not a full week!

Our blog hop is sponsored by Jaded Blossom and SVG Cutting Files, so sit back, relax and enjoy the wonderful creations the teams have made using some of the most beloved Cereal Icons of all time!
And now for my project!
I decided to do THREE projects because I could not really separate the Icons I choose..the MONSTER cereals, Count Chocula, Frankenberry and Booberry!!

So.. growing up in the 70's...this was the breakfast of Champions , lol.
My Sister LOVED Count Chocula. I preferred Frankenberry..... and well, I felt bad not to include BooBerry.  There are 2 more Monsters in this series actually, the Mummy and the Werewolf -but I dont ever recall having them growing up, so they got the axe!
Here is a close up of Count Chocula
I love how he came out...and I just love dark ink on dark papers to give it texture. It may be hard to see in my photos though.
The Count is on a Jaded Blossom Purse Holder filled with Whoppers.  I added a sentiment from Sprinkled with Love on a Mini tag Die.  Perfect for that Chocolate Lover in your life.
I had the gold wired ribbon and the brown organza ribbon in my stash and it just worked perfectly with the overall feel of the earth tones I used for him.  I wrapped the handle of the Purse Container with Kraft Twine.

So next is MY Favorite, Frankenberry!
I did a Monochromatic color scheme with this just as I did Count Chocula..this all in PINKS...which , by the way, is one of my LEAST favorite colors....so it was a BIG stretch for me to use all this pink..but I have soo much of it in my stash!
Frankenberry is on the Double Tube Holder from SVG Cutting Files.
The Tubes from Jaded BLossom are filled with 2 different colors of PINK gumballs. I tied the top off with some PINK tulle.  I see in my picture my washi tape was coming off the side, lol --- oops!
I stamped a sentiment and the strawberry from Feeling Fruity and placed it on a Candy Wrapper Die. I just love using those as flag bases.  Oh and I used the flag die too!

Last but not least is Booberry, that I made into a card
I have never tried this cereal before... as a kid I probably would not have liked it..but as an adult I probably would!
Boo is on an Action Wobble...so watch out!
I placed him on the Classic Label Card Base, and added an extra mat.
I found the yellow polka dot gross grain in my stash and it matched his hat so perfectly! Added some random blue sequins and some triple twisted twine to the card.  I stamped a sentiment from Too Cute to Spook and put it on a Mini Tag Die.

Now ALL three of my MONSTERS are FREE for today ONLY..but to get them, you have to continue HOPPING to be taken to the place to request them!! THanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed seeing what I made as much as I enjoyed creating what I made!

Spring Tulips, Birthday card for Jamie!

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing a sweet birthday card I made for my friend Jamie. (umm the post is belated but I did manage to send her the card 'relatively' on time- lol)
I used the super cute Kawaii Tulips Digital stamp and colored them in with my copics.  I picked the most vibrant ones I could muster, to make this a nice spring looking card.  See Jamie is still in winter mode, so I wanted to brighten her day!
The card base is from SVG Cutting Files, Scallop Fold Over Base -- I just love it - makes card making go so much faster when you have a cut base to use!
I used an adorable sentiment from Jaded Blossoms, Smell the Flowers set.  I stamped it on the cute Flag Dies 2, cause I wanted the scallop edge.
I tied off the finishing details with some Queen and Co rhinestones, Pink twine and some awesome Stampin' Up Ribbon.

Happy Birthday Jamie, I love you girlie!!

What the French, Toast?

Hi everyone! I made up some super fast and easy projects last week and finally have time to share them!

As many of you know, I just LOVE kawaii!  Its seriously my favorite style of art...and I tend to incorporate it in as much as I can!
This is the new digital stamps, Kawaii French Toast from Digi My World. Freaking cute, right?  I colored him with my copics...yeah - he is a little toasted...but Im a dark toast, not light toast girl!! lol

I added some Butter Popcorn Jelly Belly Jelly Beans into the Jaded Blossom boxes... tied on some Cherry Red twine...and stamps the perfect sentiment from JB's  Kawaii Sentiment set.  I added it to their awesome Flag Die to get some color contrast!

Twine Intervention

So, yesterday I shared with you how I get my Copic markers in order... today I'm gonna share with you how I store my twine.

First, a little about me & twine.  I love it, I really do ---but I use it as accent embellishments, so I never need HUGE amounts of it.  As much as I want EVERY color under the sun, the larger spools just would have no place to be stored in my house...so I opt out for the mini spools/bundles.  This allows me to get more colors and smaller storage space to keep it all in!
Here is an example of what one looks like..
I have a tendency that if I keep the twine as they are shipped to me....that at some point they always TANGLE on me... so I have to re-wrap so they are all in a single direction way.
Pretty cool, right?  It keeps them all nice and PRETTY!!

What are those things I put them on, you ask? Those stick looking things?
They are Stitch Bows!! They are intended for DMC floss {for those that do cross stitch.}  They come in a pack of TEN for under $2!!  So, I buy tons at a time... and organize all my twine....
This is what the packing looks like, and you can find them at Walmart, Michaels, Joann's etc...
they are in the needlpoint/cross stitch area.  Incidently there are MANY kinds of floss holders out there... so take a look around and just see which would work best for you!
Once they are all wrapped up, I place them in zip lock bags, by color.... and hang them on my Simply Rene Clip It Up.
My Clip it Up is forever by my side and has all my "go to" items on it, close at hand so I am not constantly up and down finding things!!
