April Day 2

Hi and welcome to our April Release!

Spring is right around the corner and so our release has a great new line of some fun spring stamps!  

This release we also have some new products in our line.

I wanted this image to have a 60's pschydelic feel to it.. so I tie-dyed the back with some distress inks using the new Wavy Circle Trio stencil.

I matted the card on a base and added some flowers to give it some extra pop!

Stamp Anniething Day - DEAN, you are so cool!

Here is my awesome Dean project!

I love how it came out!

I decided to make him using only 2 colors, plus gray.

I drew out the background as I thought he looked so retro, and wanted to find something to place him on to carry out that look a little more.  Drawing abstract shapes behind an image is one of the easiest and fastest effects you can do!

April Release - LIberty Sweetie Pie!

Here is the Project I made :

I wanted my LIberty to have a kinda retro vibe to her, so I made this digital background for her to go on.  Remember pies on the window sill?  Me either lol.. but I know it used to be done!

I colored her with my copics (see the video below)

I LOVE how the gingham curtain turned out and I glossy accented the window for some shine!

Jaded Blossom April Release Day #5

I created this fun treat using the Nugget Easel draw box and the Retro Bathing suit files. 

I used the sentiment from Another Year Older and put in on a sweet mini tag die 2. 

I wrapped some Nuggets after stamping with the tropical designer tapes stamps and cutting the with the candy wrapper dies. Some fun buttons, ribbon and twine from my stash tie it all together!

And now for my project!

I decided to use the new So Maude! Digital Stamp. 

 I just HAD to color that HAIR!! 

And I wanted to experiment with doing 'make up'. 

I choose a loud and bold color scheme that I thought would be reminiscent of the era (being a 70s' baby, I just figured orange and green!)... 

I printed my digi and added her to the Trapezoid Card base, I thought the shape was different and fun......

I added some fun washi tape and and Bubbles as the embellishments!

I enjoyed coloring her so much..I took another of just her face and blew it up for a smaller 4 X 4 notecard... Isn't she lovely?

Of course, I needed to find the perfect sentiment...so Jaded  Blossoms's  Easter Treats 2 came in handy! I just masked off the Happy Easter part and kept the rest!
