Here is my Sweet Rae!  I love her shorty sassy hair do!

I wanted to try someting different.... so I used the Jaded Blossom Border Dies 2 to make a template for my background.  I then FINALLY got to play around with my distress inks and make a pretty sky background.  There is a tinge or some pink, purple and yellow in those clouds as well!

I pop dotted Rae to my card base and there you go!

Stamp Anniething June Release, Day #2 - Dorothy Have a Sweet Day!

So as you may tell, I like creating digital scenes for my girls!  When I needed to start my Dorothy project, I just KNEW I wanted her sitting in a watermelon field.

I created her digital background and pop dotted her to the front of the A2 card mat.

I colored her in with my copic markers.

I just LOVE how she came out!  Look at those Melons!! Fun fun Fun!

At the time of writing this post, I seemed to have misplaced the colors I used! Ugggg,

Summertime Summertime Sum Sum Summertime!

Hi everyone! It has been a while since I got to play and post on the SAT blog!  Last weekend I was in full coloring mode and knocked out these two totally FUN and adorable Summertime Cards!

Up first is my Audrina the Mermaid Card!

I colored the adorable Audrina, Make a Splash stamp up using copic markers.  I created a fun underwater scene to go with her with some coral, seaweed, sand,etc.  I added some white paint splatters to represent the kicking up of the bottom of the ocean and to add more texture to the underwater scene.

Next up is sweet Lorraine!

This card was totally fun to make and I went along with a class from Kit N Clowder to create the beach scene behind Lorraine!  Alyce has some really fabulous classes and step by step directions to create wonderful backdrops for your stamped images!

**sorry for the blurry photo, it was rainy all day, I had to run when there was a small sun break, and well - it was the best I could do under the pressure before it started a downpour again!**

I made this 12 X 12 layout of my youngest son Colin when he was younger.  He used to just light up when he was swimming in the pool. Just look at him beaming!
I used the new Smile Like You Mean It page layout and various papers from my stash.
I used different sentiments from Picture This on little flags to add some words.

I used the Scallop Half Circle Card Sketch, matted with Card Mat Dies.

I colored her with my copics and then stamped her sentiment on the mini tag die.

So Fun!

The Ice Pop paper is from Doodlebug (Sunkissed collection) and the solid colors is Papertrey inc.

I just LOVE the summertime.....

You're One in a Melon!

Hi there! Today I'm sharing a really simple card I put together for two sweet people I know!

They live in cold weather states and I'm sure they are wanting some SPRING/SUMMER weather there soon, so figured maybe my card could bring that to them!

I love the spring colors of the card..the yellows, pinks and of course my fave, GREEN!

I first started with my card base, the Trapezoid from SVGCuttingFiles.com

Then I added some Mommas Mesh and Rumple Ribbon from Love Bug Creations.

Cut the adorable Kawaii Watermelon  and add the sentiment from Feeling Fruity to the Mini Tag dies.

Inside I added the Gift Card Die to turn this card into a gift! 

I sure hope my gal pals like their gift!!
