Summertime Summertime Sum Sum Summertime!

Hi everyone! It has been a while since I got to play and post on the SAT blog!  Last weekend I was in full coloring mode and knocked out these two totally FUN and adorable Summertime Cards!

Up first is my Audrina the Mermaid Card!

I colored the adorable Audrina, Make a Splash stamp up using copic markers.  I created a fun underwater scene to go with her with some coral, seaweed, sand,etc.  I added some white paint splatters to represent the kicking up of the bottom of the ocean and to add more texture to the underwater scene.

Next up is sweet Lorraine!

This card was totally fun to make and I went along with a class from Kit N Clowder to create the beach scene behind Lorraine!  Alyce has some really fabulous classes and step by step directions to create wonderful backdrops for your stamped images!

Day 3 Release..... Lorraine - Oversized ugly Sweater!

Stamp Anniething May Release Day #2 - Lorraine - Sunshine

Hi and welcome to Day #1 of Stamp Anniething's May release!  

This release we are introducing you to ONE new  and TWO returning characters.

Today its all about Lorraine!!

You remember Lorraine dont you?  She was from an earlier release... and is back again in her summer gear!!  Measuring around 2.394 X 3.434

She has her cute bathing suit and swimming device and glasses ready to go!

Included is a small "sunshine!" sentiment as well.

She is perfect for everyday occasions!

Here is sweet Lorraine...do you remember her from our earlier release?  She has come back in summer gear just ready to hit the waves!  She is adorable and I love her little ruffle bathing suit!

I Colored her with my Copic Markers (shame on me, I forgot to write down the colors I used this time! Grrr)... 

I added her to a standard A2 card base and used Card Mat Dies.

I used glossy accents for her shades, and burlap and solid red twine to give some texture to the card. I love how she came out!

And now for my project of Lorraine!

Here is sweet Lorraine.  I just LOVED this doodlebug paper and knew I wanted to use due to its fun bright and vibrant colors.  Going with that, I felt Lorraine needed to be fun and vibrant as well, so I wanted to experiment with some fun PINK Hair.  She looks like cotton candy!!

I stamped her and her sentiment onto the Journal Tag die and mounted her on the Card Mat Die.  These dies make card making super fast and easy!

Some Pink gingham ribbon and doodlebug sprinkles finish my simple card off!
