Halloween is around the corner, so we decided to do so Costume Kids (which you can really use year round, not specific just to Halloween!)

Today its all about Liberty

Meet Liberty!  She is for all those super girls you know!  Dress her for halloween or any special occasion when you want to show someone how super you think they are!!

Included is a small "for a super girl" sentiment as well.

She is perfect for everyday occasions , not just Halloween!

Here is my project with the new Liberty stamp!

 First a shout out to my wonderful hubby.... who watched as I colored and assembled most of the day and told me to "Comic book" the look of Liberty. It was his idea to put her on the classic "pow" shaped card base. So...thanks hubs!! 

So here is Liberty, such a FUN one to color with that flowing hair!

Jaded Blossom May release day 5 - Have a Gear-ific Day!

Here's what I created with the new Paint Splatters 2

I used the new Penny Cards to make this interactive sliding circle card.  It just went so well with the gears and knowing how they move, I just felt this card base was the best to use!  The Paint Splatters 2 are so fun to play with and overlap one on top of the other.  I used different inks to make an ombre effect.  I used Gears to decorate and the mini tag dies 2 for my sentiment!

DMW Bee Mine release - Just Because!!

Welcome to the Digi My World BE MINE digital stamp release!

All week long we will have some wonderful inspirational project to share with you!

My Project today is...

I used my new TRIART Markers to color this cutie in and was actually pretty pleased with the results.  Triart is a alcohol based marker, just like copics, but smaller and less expensive. In NO MEANS do I intend to abandoned my Copics, but this is a great fill in way to get those colors you need when you can't afford the pricey markers right away!

Ok so the project!! This is V day Puppy, and he will be available on FRIDAY.

What I love about the images, they are not just for Valentines Day! I am using this cutie for a Just Because card!

I colored the pup and matted him on the Ticket Book Die and matted that onto the Side Cut Lacy Card base. I stamped the sentiment from Random Act of Kindness on the Mini Tag Dies.

Game Of Thrones, Mini Hop - Jon Snow, Ygritte and Ghost!

And now for my project!

I totally LOVE Jon Snow!  He is my favorite out of the so many characters that I love on this show, but I just really love his story line and love to see his character develop (plus, he is still ALIVE!)  He has the COOLEST of the wolves, Ghost - the Albino with red eyes.

So, I started off with the awesome Fancy Label Card base...it only comes with one mat, so I created another inner one so I could have three layers showing.
Jon is a Brother of the Watch, so, its his duty to FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT, so the Keep Calm and Fight on Sentiment from Fight for a Cure was perfect!  I placed it on a Flag Die (which I just shortened to make it look like a house banner).  Jon was a tad tricky because his clothing is mostly black on black on black, so I hope you can see all the layers and depth this piece actually has.  I tied off the card with some black and grey twine.

Now, I couldn't do Jon without doing Ygritte.  She is Jon's love interest, although he is not to have one... Ygritte is a Wildling on the other side of the Wall that the Nights Watch has to protect.  So, you see, they should have been enemies...but --well you know how the story goes!  Jon loves Ygritte but he has taken a Vow to the Knights Watch, and so he can not be with her.  Ygritte is also on the same Fancy Label Card Base, this time I added a sentiment from the Fitness Junkie set, Never Give Up... because they truly do love one another.

What a Great Idea (Ikea)!

Forgot to post this up..a quick card I made for a friend... sent her an Ikea Card for her special day... as she is redoing her scrap room (wink wink)... So I took it and made it into a pun..not a great Idea.. but a great IKEA!

I Used the Classic Label Card Base, Kawaii Light Bulb and used my Sketch Pens to add the stitching and the Sentiment.  I stamped the PKS Kawaii Face stamps to make it even more adorable!  Tied it off with some Kraft twine..and there you go!

And now for my project!

I decided to use the new So Maude! Digital Stamp. 

 I just HAD to color that HAIR!! 

And I wanted to experiment with doing 'make up'. 

I choose a loud and bold color scheme that I thought would be reminiscent of the era (being a 70s' baby, I just figured orange and green!)... 

I printed my digi and added her to the Trapezoid Card base, I thought the shape was different and fun......

I added some fun washi tape and and Bubbles as the embellishments!

I enjoyed coloring her so much..I took another of just her face and blew it up for a smaller 4 X 4 notecard... Isn't she lovely?

Of course, I needed to find the perfect sentiment...so Jaded  Blossoms's  Easter Treats 2 came in handy! I just masked off the Happy Easter part and kept the rest!

Enjoy The Ride!

Happy Alien Abduction Day Everyone... Yes... that is today..so to play along, I made this cute little Alien card... to Enjoy the Ride!

I started with the Simple Label Card base and then wrapped some MaraschinoTwine around it.  I then took the back insert piece from the Alien Candy tube holder and sized it to my mat.  I added Rhinestones to the UFO to bling it out.  The floating cow being abducted is the Free Cow Silhoutte in the FB Group member area.  I then cut 2 layers of Grass with the Grass Border from Spring Dies.  Then to tie it all off, I stamped ENJOY THE RIDE from Picture This!

Spring Tulips, Birthday card for Jamie!

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing a sweet birthday card I made for my friend Jamie. (umm the post is belated but I did manage to send her the card 'relatively' on time- lol)

I used the super cute Kawaii Tulips Digital stamp and colored them in with my copics.  I picked the most vibrant ones I could muster, to make this a nice spring looking card.  See Jamie is still in winter mode, so I wanted to brighten her day!
The card base is from SVG Cutting Files, Scallop Fold Over Base -- I just love it - makes card making go so much faster when you have a cut base to use!
I used an adorable sentiment from Jaded Blossoms, Smell the Flowers set.  I stamped it on the cute Flag Dies 2, cause I wanted the scallop edge.
I tied off the finishing details with some Queen and Co rhinestones, Pink twine and some awesome Stampin' Up Ribbon.

Tree-Mendous Holiday Wishes

Hi everyone, Annie here.
Last week we released a few new holiday digital stamps at Digi My World.  I was late getting a project done.... just been so busy busy busy!!

At any rate...here is a fast colored card I made!

I used the adorable little boy with the Ornaments from the Getting Ready Digital Stamp set.  I hand colored with my copic markers... I am LOVING the reddish brown hair coloring lately (yeah, you will see that again and again!)...

I attached him to the Wavy Card base from SVG Cutting Files.

I stamped a sentiment from Merry & Bright from Jaded Blossom & added the Flag Dies 2.

Finished him off with a little twine and a red jewel.

Nerds & Glasses

Hi everyone, Annie here today to give a new sneak for a new Digital Stamp set coming out on Friday!

Sock Monkey Mayhem.

Yea...I love sock monkeys....so I did a few different monkey images in different dress up clothing...

This little adorable monkey wears glasses & likes reading his books!  So cute!

I earnestly TRIED to do a new effect on the body of the monkey to make it look "sock" material..

but I FAILED miserably!  Guess I need more practice on that one!!
