March day 3

Hi and welcome to our March Release!

Spring is right around the corner and so our release has a great new line of some fun spring stamps!

So I made this totally adorable 3 folded card that has the middle section up in front.  You can watch the video below on the tutorial of the cut and score lines to create you own!

I used th new Victoria stamp and the New Hello Die for this project.  I colored up several of the little images in the Garden Grows Decorative Die cut pack and used the Land of Oz dies to create that pretty cloud background and hillside grass.

February Release Day #1 - Kevin - Have a Blazing Good Day!

I created this adorable card to have some "boy" cards in my stash!

I used the digital background of "Fire Wall" and colored it up with my copic markers.

It was a challenge for me as I have never done fire before, and this took me a while to get to a place I was happy with.

And now for my project! 

I decided to make a little handy fitness log book. This is great for all of the folks out there that are not into planners, but still want to have some sort of log sheet or tally to keep them on track!  The best part? You are customizing it for however you eat, workout, etc!!
So first I need to make a little holder for the cards.
I used the new TAPE MEASURE WAIST File for the cover.

  
With the awesome alphabet dies to custom spell whatever you need/want!

I just used the Card Mat die and then stamped away with my log information! You can customize it anyway you need/see fit!  From Meal Trackers to Exercise logs.. the possibilities are endless!

Video Gamer Blog Hop - Sac Boy & Shadow!

Hi there and welcome to our amazing Video Gamer Blog Hop!

And now for my PROJECTS! (yea as in more than one!)

First I whipped up this Yoshi Treat Bag...

Yoshi eats apples, spits fireballs and is just cute as can be...sooooo I added him to the Fancy Topper and stamped from Mexican Food, You're One Hot Tamale, as I filled the 3 X 4 bag with, you got it,...HOT TAMALES!  Oh, I stamped it on a small die from Mini tag Dies!

YOSHI FILE IS FREE TODAY ONLY, if you participate correctly!!

Sorry to disappoint, but although I grew up on the Nintendo System ...

 I totally think SAC BOY from Little Big Planet is the CUTEST thing ever and I enjoyed playing along (although I sucked at it) with my son.  For those not familiar with this game, you can customize your Sac Boy with tons of outfits and accessories.... my final character was actually an adorable Bunny I called Lola..... So anyways..here is the base Sac Boy... I just think he is tooooo cute!

I made an adorable card & treat box for Sac Boy!

For my card, I took the Sac Boy file and enlarged it and cut it from the chest down. 

 I wanted him big on the card.  I then placed him on the Oval Card Base.  

I masked off a sentiment from Lunchbox Notes 2 and placed it on a mini banner die.

 Oh yea..I twine stitched his head!!

Next, I made a treat container for Sac Boy.  I knew I wanted to incorporate the "world" somehow, so I took the Pig In Barrel file, and slightly altered it to give it a lid to make a closed box. 

 I cut some continent shapes and added them to my "globe".  

Again, I masked the sentiment from Lunch Box Notes 2 - this time adding it to a flag die and wrapping it  around a straw.  I also stamped For A Special Boy   on a smaller die from the Card mat Dies.  

Tied some Twine from my stash, as well as some Monster Skin ribbon. 

Filled the container with kisses stamped with Treat Haul (from Beep Beep Candies) and Yummy For Your Tummy (from Gingerbread Candies).  I LOVE how he came out!

Next I made a character from the SEGA game system.....Shadow the Hedgehog...yes SHADOW, not SONIC... hee hee

I don't know why, but Shadow was more mysterious and less annoying to me then Sonic! 

So, as any one who has played these games... getting the Chaos Emerald is a MUST, so, I had to incorporate an Emerald in here somewhere!

I took the Shadow cut file and added him to the new Ornate Tube Holder.  I just opted to stick the Emerald box instead of a tube into the holder.  I think it looks pretty cool!  I stamped a fun sentiment from NERD on a Mini Flag Die, and then filled the container with some small treats!

I have a house full of Star Wars Fans, however we also REALLY enjoyed the parody that Family Guy did of the movie..
and so I choose Peter and Lois Griffin in that Famous I LOVE YOU scene.
 (Die hard fans know that Peter's response was NOT the same as Hans! ha ha

Yep its Lois as Lei and Peter as Han!  How cool did they come out. I love it!

If you are a Star Wars fan and have NOT seen the Family Guy version, you are missing out!

I put the Lois and Peter cut file on a Fry box I altered a bit to make them fit.

I used Jaded Blossom goodies as well.

Smoking Hot Birthday

Hi everyone!!  Here is a super cute and quick card I made for today!

I just love how he came out!

I used the adorable dragon from Welcome to my Lair on the super fun Ornate Card Base!

This Month, Jaded Blossom has KNIGHT BITES on sale for their monthly spotlight, and the sentiment was PERFECT for my little dragon!

I finished it off with some red & black twine from my stash.

Incredible Kid Day!

Yes..today is actually a little known off the chart Holiday called INCREDIBLE KID DAY...so I wanted to share a super quick and easy card I made!

This card went together so fast and easy too!

Red White and Blue twine....

I used a red Gel Pen in my Cameo to make the faux stitch on the white mat.

And now for my project!  
I decided to do THREE projects because I could not really separate the Icons I choose..the MONSTER cereals, Count Chocula, Frankenberry and Booberry!!

 

So.. growing up in the 70's...this was the breakfast of Champions , lol.

My Sister LOVED Count Chocula. I preferred Frankenberry..... and well, I felt bad not to include BooBerry.  There are 2 more Monsters in this series actually, the Mummy and the Werewolf -but I dont ever recall having them growing up, so they got the axe!

I love how he came out...and I just love dark ink on dark papers to give it texture. It may be hard to see in my photos though. 

The Count is on a Jaded Blossom Purse Holder filled with Whoppers.  I added a sentiment from Sprinkled with Love on a Mini tag Die.  Perfect for that Chocolate Lover in your life.  

I had the gold wired ribbon and the brown organza ribbon in my stash and it just worked perfectly with the overall feel of the earth tones I used for him.  I wrapped the handle of the Purse Container with Kraft Twine.

So next is MY Favorite, Frankenberry!

I did a Monochromatic color scheme with this just as I did Count Chocula..this all in PINKS...which , by the way, is one of my LEAST favorite colors....so it was a BIG stretch for me to use all this pink..but I have soo much of it in my stash! 

Frankenberry is on the Double Tube Holder from SVG Cutting Files.

The Tubes from Jaded BLossom are filled with 2 different colors of PINK gumballs. I tied the top off with some PINK tulle.  I see in my picture my washi tape was coming off the side, lol --- oops!

I stamped a sentiment and the strawberry from Feeling Fruity and placed it on a Candy Wrapper Die. I just love using those as flag bases.  Oh and I used the flag die too!

Last but not least is Booberry, that I made into a card

I have never tried this cereal before... as a kid I probably would not have liked it..but as an adult I probably would!

Boo is on an Action Wobble...so watch out!

I placed him on the Classic Label Card Base, and added an extra mat.

I found the yellow polka dot gross grain in my stash and it matched his hat so perfectly! Added some random blue sequins and some triple twisted twine to the card.  I stamped a sentiment from Too Cute to Spook and put it on a Mini Tag Die.

Now ALL three of my MONSTERS are FREE for today ONLY..but to get them, you have to continue HOPPING to be taken to the place to request them!! THanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed seeing what I made as much as I enjoyed creating what I made!
