2nd Annual Hello Kitty Blog hop!

It's our 2nd Annual Hello Kitty Blog Hop!  Are you as excited as we are??

Hello Kitty is such an iconic character to so many people, we just had to do another hop in her honor!
Today's hop is sponsored by SvgCuttingFiles and Jaded Blossom, so sit back, relax and enjoy the creations the team has made!

This Hop will be open for 48 HOURS (unlike our normal 24 hours) in honor of it the 2nd year!!
What is also exciting is that this hop has co-ordinating stamps from Jaded Blossom!

THESE files are only available to those that qualify and ends
PROMPTLY on Saturday July 19th at 11:59 PST

HOP GUIDELINES

1- FOLLOW all EIGHTEEN (18) blogs in this hop
See side bar for ways to follow
2- COMMENT on all EIGHTEEN stops letting the owner know what you thought of their project!
3- Go to the REQUEST Files link once you have completed these steps at the END of the hop.  Fill the form out correctly and wait for your files to be delivered!
(can take up to 72 hours)

And now for my Project!
Ok Ok.. Im STILL having Breaking Bad Withdrawals... (lol)
It was such an amazing show, and I do so miss it.  To honor my love for the character Jesse Pinkman, (who you may recall I did back in February for Candace's Birthday Blog Hop)... here is Hello Kitty as Jesse.
So the Jesse Hello Kitty is Free during this blog hop ONLY (ends promptly 11:59 PST Saturday July 19th)
I used the Can of Worms Cutting File (just scaled down and without the lid) to make the "money barrel".
Of course I used the new HELLO HELLO stamps for my sentiment and for 1/2 of my candy kisses.  The Other 1/2 of the kisses I used the radiation icon from Science Candies
The Sentiment Hello Sugar is stamped on one of the flags from Candy Charms & Banners
I wrapped the kisses in some blue cellphone, as everyone that watches the show knows that Jesse and Mr. White's signature is the BLUE!
Another angle of my cute Hello Kitty Breaking Bad kitty!
Now on to your next stop, click the cute image below to be taken there!

What the French, Toast?

Hi everyone! I made up some super fast and easy projects last week and finally have time to share them!

As many of you know, I just LOVE kawaii!  Its seriously my favorite style of art...and I tend to incorporate it in as much as I can!
This is the new digital stamps, Kawaii French Toast from Digi My World. Freaking cute, right?  I colored him with my copics...yeah - he is a little toasted...but Im a dark toast, not light toast girl!! lol

I added some Butter Popcorn Jelly Belly Jelly Beans into the Jaded Blossom boxes... tied on some Cherry Red twine...and stamps the perfect sentiment from JB's  Kawaii Sentiment set.  I added it to their awesome Flag Die to get some color contrast!

Twine Intervention

So, yesterday I shared with you how I get my Copic markers in order... today I'm gonna share with you how I store my twine.

First, a little about me & twine.  I love it, I really do ---but I use it as accent embellishments, so I never need HUGE amounts of it.  As much as I want EVERY color under the sun, the larger spools just would have no place to be stored in my house...so I opt out for the mini spools/bundles.  This allows me to get more colors and smaller storage space to keep it all in!
Here is an example of what one looks like..
I have a tendency that if I keep the twine as they are shipped to me....that at some point they always TANGLE on me... so I have to re-wrap so they are all in a single direction way.
Pretty cool, right?  It keeps them all nice and PRETTY!!

What are those things I put them on, you ask? Those stick looking things?
They are Stitch Bows!! They are intended for DMC floss {for those that do cross stitch.}  They come in a pack of TEN for under $2!!  So, I buy tons at a time... and organize all my twine....
This is what the packing looks like, and you can find them at Walmart, Michaels, Joann's etc...
they are in the needlpoint/cross stitch area.  Incidently there are MANY kinds of floss holders out there... so take a look around and just see which would work best for you!
Once they are all wrapped up, I place them in zip lock bags, by color.... and hang them on my Simply Rene Clip It Up.
My Clip it Up is forever by my side and has all my "go to" items on it, close at hand so I am not constantly up and down finding things!!
